EXCLUSIVE!!!
Arrested Development has been picked up for 12 episodes by Showtime!!! I’m staking my rather tenuous reputation on it!!! A friend to Better Than Fudge with knowledge to be trusted says it is so. The information is according to a cast member of the show–we’ll leave it at that.
Spread the word! Tell them Better Than Fudge said it was so and God bless the Bluth family!!!

This would make me really happy if they have in fact picked up the show.

Sunday Night after watching the NBA all-star game I decided to do some laundry. I went down the hall to see if there were any machines available and there were two, so I put my laundry in them. When I came back 39 minutes later to move my clothes over to the dryer there were none available. That really pissed me off because that had never happened to me before. The dryer with the least time remaining had about 15 minutes left before it would be done. I did not want to wait 15 minutes to move my clothes over to the dryer. I decided to just run the washer again without any detergent so no one would take my stuff out of the washer, which is what I would have done had I gotten athere and somebody's laundry was done but they weren't there. I came back to the laundry room in 15 minutes to move my clothers over to the dryer but I did not realize that the washers were locked for the duration of the cycle. So I then had to go to my room and wait another 24 minutes before I could move my clothes over to the dryer. By this time it was 2:15 a.m. The dryer cycle takes an hour so it didn't get finished until 3:15. I had started washing my clothes at about 12:30 or 12:45 and I didn't get finished until 3:15 because of my fuck-up. I then went back to my room and put my clothes away. I did not get to bed until about 4 and I had to get up at 9:45 so I could go to my calculus class.
Last night I went to eat dinner at about 7:45. I went over to the dining hall and I decided to get a sandwich since nothing else except the grill was open since they stop serving dinner at 7:30. I got my sandwich made on a garlic wrap and then I decided to get it toasted. I was waiting there and a sandwich on a wrap came out of the toaster. The girl working back there asked if it was mine and I said that it was, because I thought that it was mine. When I sat down to eat it I realized that it was in fact not mine and I had accidently taken someone else's sandwich. It was pretty good.
I saw an article today that said the women's figure skating was a must-watch event. The article compared it to the Super Bowl and the Kentucky Derby and I think the glory days of women's figure skating is over. I don't give a fuck about women's figure skating. I watch the Super Bowl and the Kentucky Derby every year, but I have never watched women's figure skating. A must-watch event would get better ratings than American Idol, which it is going up against tonight and on Thursday night, but it is going to get outperformed by American Idol. As for me, I am going to be watching ESPN tonight. They have a couple of pretty good college basketball games: Illinois vs. Michigan and Alabama vs. Arkansas.

| » Bill O'Reilly claims personal responsibility for lower gas prices |
What an arrogant, delusional, loser
In an interview yesterday with Fox News’s Neil Cavuto, Bill O’Reilly claimed that his reporting intimidated oil company CEOs into lowering gasoline prices:
CAVUTO: Ok. Gas prices are down a lot. Why do you think that is?
O’REILLY: Because they’re afraid they were going to go to jail. They were afraid they were going to get the Enron treatment and those CEOs who manipulated them up…
CAVUTO: Why are you sure they have manipulated them?
O’REILLY: Because I have inside guys who tell me that.
CAVUTO: That the CEO’s of these companies, who are part of a cabal…
O’REILLY: I have guys inside the five major oil companies - my father used to work for one of those oil companies by the way - who have told me that in those meetings they look for every way to jack up oil prices after Katrina, every way, when they didn’t have to. They got scared because of my reporting and reporting of some others. They said, “Uh ho.”
CAVUTO: So wait a minute, you’re not, you’re taking credit for gas prices being down from where they are?
O’REILLY: I said my reporting and some reporting of others. They got scared.

My girlfriend has been going on and on for months about how super impressed she is with her super smart, handsome, rich, ivy league educated married boss. Whatever. It did not matter until she told me they fucked in Las Vegas last month during a business trip. Her digital camera also had 30 or so shots of them naked in the hotel room in various sex acts appearing very drunk and happy. I found the disc last week and she admitted what happened. I told her the relationship is over and kicked her ass out. I own the house which we have lived in for a bit over a year. I told her to pick up her shit today. Over the weekend I fowarded the pics to her boss, his wife(after I told her what happened over the phone), and her boss's boss. Well...Everyone who got the pics ain't too happy. My now ex girlfriend's boss called me on Sunday and told me I ruined his marriage, job, and life and he said he was going to sue me after he beat the shit out of me and gouged out my eyes. Then he started to cry over the phone. ( Read more... )

The Heat won again. They beat the Cavs 102-82 for their fifth consecutive win in a row. We now have a 10.5 game lead in the division and the second place team in the east is 7.5 games behind us. We have the third best record in the league, behind the suns and the spurs and are two games behind the spurs for homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. We signed Alonzo Mourning and Tricky(Steve)Smith to the team last week and cut wesley person. I am glad to have zo back. When he played for us before he was a warrior and if he hadn't gotten the kidney ailement we would have had a real good team in the 2000-2001 season. He has had limited minutes in his first three games back with the team. Tricky may come off the injured list and play in the game against the sixers later today. This was a good team game, with Shaq getting into early foul trouble and Dwayne Wade having a sub par night. Eddie Jones and Udonis Haslem had real good games.
The ACC tournament starts on Thursday at the MCI Center in Washington D.C. The Canes are probably going to play Virginia. If we win that game we play Dook. If we win two games in the tournament then we will have a fairly good chance to make to the Tourney. If we win our second round game then we will have a win against dook, who will likely be a two seed in the tourney. If we don't win two games in the ACC tourney we will be playing in the NIT. Two of the top three teams in college basketball lost today with UF beating third ranked Kentucky and OSU beating undefeated and number one Illinois. The number two team in the country, UNC, beat dook with a last second shot and won the ACC regular season championship. Number 7 Kansas lost to Mizzou.
Tiger Woods is back. He entered Sunday two strokes behind Phil Mickelson and ended up beating Phil by one stroke. This was the fourth time that Tiger and Phil have been in the same group on Sunday and each time that they have been in the same group, Tiger has won. With this win, he regained the number one ranking in the world. I believe that Tiger will win at least two majors this year.

| » Canes Basketball Analysis |
The Canes basketball team got annihilated by Duke Last Night. It got so bad that I stopped watching it after the first media timeout of the second half. That leaves us with a final regular season record of 16-11(7-9). In order to make the NCAA tourney we would likely have to win at least two games in the ACC tournament, which starts next Thursday. As it stands the Canes are going to be in the NIT and there is a possibility that we may host one of the early round round games which would be real cool. The Canes were only blown out in two games this season. Those games were at Duke and at UNC, both of whom will likely make it to at least the elite eight. Coming into the ACC it could have been worse considering how bad our team has been the last few years. After Perry Clark's sorry ass was fired, Frank Haith was not the person I wanted to replace him. The person that I wanted to replace Perry Clark was Bobby Gonzalez, head coach for Manhattan. He probably had a fair number of job offers and should have taken one of them after the season that Manhattan had last year because they are unlikely to replicate that anytime in the near future. Frank Haith is the real deal and is bringing in a top 25 recruiting class. With Haith the future of the Canes basketball program looks very bright. He has said that he wants to remain a college coach, so we won't have to worry about losing him to the pros like we lost Leonard Hamilton after the season that we were the Regular Season Big East Champions. One of the things that could be a concern is if a job opens up at Kansas, UNC, or elsewhere on tobacco road. If he was offered a job at Kansas or UNC, he would probably want to take a long look at it. If that happens, I wouldn't blame him for seriously that job, but I would hope that he would want to stay at Miami and become a legend here.
I got a 93 on my history Mid-term. I am going to go to the Canes baseball game later tonight against NC State. I will probably go to the Saturday game as well and may go to the Sunday game. I had a spanish test on Monday that I should get back tomorrow. I have a English paper due on Tuesday and I have no idea on how in the hell I will write it. It seems like the topic will give me a lot of hassles and I think I will struggle with getting it to the required length.

I don't have that much to say about this last weekend. I didn't really do anything at all because I had a mid-term in my history class today. I think I did good on it. I still have to finish up on a paper for my english class that is due tomorow.
The Canes Basketball team lost to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on Saturday night 71-58 and their record is now 15-9 overall and 6-7 in the ACC . I wasn't able to watch the game because it was not on tv.
I had to listen to it on WQAM over the Internet because WVUM, didn't carry the game for whatever the hell reason. There were times when it seemed as if Joe Z was rooting for the hokies. If you aren't going to be an all out homer, you should at least attempt to not sound like you are having an orgasm every time the other team makes a good play.
With that win, Virginia Tech officially owns us. In football they blew us out in 2003 and beat us in the Orange Bowl in 2004 to win the ACC crown. They have now swept us in basketball this year. If they manage to win the baseball series against us I would be very upset; but I doubt that they could win the series against us because they suck in baseball and we have a good chance to go to the College World Series.
Despite the loss, we are a lock to go to the NIT and are on the NCAA bubble. In order to make the NCAA tournament we would have to win 2 of our next three games or win the ACC tournament. Our next three games are at FSU tomorrow, at home vs. Georgia Tech on Saturday, and in Durham to play Duke on 3/3. Currently, Stewart Mandel of SI.com has us as a twelve seed and Joe Lunardi of ESPN.com has us as one of his last four out.
I decided to break this up into two parts because of the length. Part two follows.

My door Sucks. Every so often when you come in the
room it just gets stuck halfway and won't close. This happened a few months ago
and it just started up again yesterday. It is very annoying to come in the
room, sit down, and look over and see that the door is wide open and then have
to go over and close it.
The new 50 cent cd, The Massacre, which was supposed to come out in
stores on 3/8 was leaked to the internet recently. I download it and
have liked it a lot more than I expected to, which is surprising since
most of the songs from his last cd, Get Rich or Die Tryin', sucked. One
thing he needs to work on is coming up with better song titles. My
favorite songs on there are Gatman and Robbin(feat. Eminem), In my
Hood, Candy Shop, Disco Inferno, and Piggy Bank. Piggy Bank is a great
dis track. He takes shots at Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Nas, Shyne and Ja Rule. He's going after all of New York.
I didn't watch the NBA all-star game but I saw Vince Carter's dunk. That was sick.
I saw a rumor that the Cavs were talking about trading Drew Gooden for
Michael Redd. That would make Lebron even better and would make them
the second best team in the east, behind the heat.
Canes basketball games tomorrow at FSU and at home vs Georgia Tech 4

From Bill Simmons' Latest Mailbag on his Sports Guy World website.
ESPN.com: Page 2 : Delivering the mail Q: I came up with a foolproof idea for disproving that the WNBA is a real sport. You choose a person from a city that has a WNBA team and ask them the following question, "Would you rather your WNBA team win the championship or be walking along and find a $5 bill on the ground." So far I haven't found anyone that will choose the championship. What do you think? -- Josh, Kansas City, MO
